Start sooner rather than later- in other words, Early!

Earning a paycheck, whether you are self-employed or work for a company, means the opportunity to contribute to financial plans, such as IRAs, which you should take advantage of. If you are working for a company that is match contributions- Take advantage! If you are self employed, get yourself hooked up with apps like MINT, or look into personal IRA accounts through Ameritrade. It honestly doesn’t take much to open one, and the payoff is the difference between good retirement and none. Whatever your situation might be, saving and investing money today is better than waiting until tomorrow. Start now.
Invest in yourself/education
When you take the time to learn how to manage your money and make more money, you are investing in yourself. Building wealth and earning passive income does not come naturally; you need to invest the time to understand how money management works. Invest in making a plan for yourself and learning the skills to make that plan a reality.
Harmony and Balance
Harmony and balance are the most important qualities of the “wealthy” qualities. They are the foundation for all the others. When you possess true inner harmony – what do you think, say feel and do is one, Suze says. When your thoughts feelings, words, and actions are not in harmony, it shows up as an imbalance. Self-loving
Fulfilled women do not count on others for their worth or self-satisfaction. They are not living lives that they want anyone to rescue them from. Emotionally wealthy women love themselves first, are able to self-soothe when life gets hard and continue to live their lives with composure. They know who they are and what they stand for. Life can be painful and challenging for all us. Because emotionally wealthy women are fulfilled from the inside, they accept who they are, flaws and all. They are able to tap into their own inner strength to continue forward with faith that all things will work out in their favor.
Courage
– Courage: the ability to face danger, difficulties, uncertainty or pain without being overcome by fear.
When you have harmony, you words and actions reflect how you actually feel. In order to do that, you must have courage. When you have true courage you’re not a slave to your fear. Courage helps you overcome all fear. But sometimes we lose our courage when we think we’ll hurt others. Fear does not allow us to be courageous. FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real; therefore, do not allow your fears to control you. Whether it’s a fear of losing someone or fear of being scrutinized, learn to conquer your fear by adjusting your thoughts to think positively and step out on faith!

With technology and the apps available to you, there really is not any reason to not have savings. I know, we are women and there is nothing we love better than to see ‘extra’ money in our account and well- spend it! But, with apps like Digit,Qapital and Acorns- just to name a few. They are free to set up and take the guess work out of savings- because they do it for you! Without you even noticing, they pull a few dollars and cents every week or 2 weeks, you control the frequency and put it in a rainy day fund. The apps notify you of the withdrawal and accumulate the monies without you having to calculate anything or remember to save. And- you have access to use the funds, withdraw them or move the funds any time you want! It is a no brainer for savings- if you haven’t starting downloading one of these apps already- I’m just wondering- what are you waiting for? Do it now so your future rich self can thank you!
Invest in assets that appreciate in value
Spend your money cautiously and wisely. Choose to spend money on luxuries that will appreciate, such as real estate or investments. You want to spend money on items that will give you a return on your investment rather than lose money. Real estate has traditionally been a good investment because, over time, the property gains value so that if and when you come to sell it, you will have received more money for it than what you paid. That’s a good feeling.
Generosity
When you find courage to live your life in harmony and balance, when you understand and practice generosity in the truest sense – happiness spontaneously appears. Happiness is a necessity for true wealth, Suze explains.
“When you’re happy you find pure joy in your life,” she says. “There are no regrets in this state of happiness – and that’s a goal worth striving for in all areas of your life.”
Discerning
Emotionally wealthy women are selective about the company they keep. They know negativity is contagious and drama producing and, therefore, are mindful about who they surround themselves with. They only commit to being in mutually beneficial relationships. If they find themselves caught up in a relationship that is one-way, they seek to terminate that relationship immediately, as it does not serve to honor them for the valuable human being they are. Emotionally wealthy women do not make time or space in their lives for toxic, self-serving people. They cater only to their passions in life and to those people who love and uplift them. They choose never to waste time or energy on any person or circumstance that seeks to bring them down. Emotionally wealthy women do not consent to play small.
Wisdom
– Wisdom: the knowledge and experience needed to make sensible decisions.
Can I just say that is my favorite quality! Ladies, if we do not own and use our wisdom then we can never really live and embrace our legacies. Wisdom shows us how to shut out the noise in our lives. We are inundated with all sorts of noise on a daily basis that can distract us from tapping into our inner power. A wise woman realizes her faults and plans to do something about it. Her faults and mistakes enable her to know better so that she can do better. Being wise means being conscious of your thoughts, words and actions. It’s about accepting responsibility and realizing what you need to do in order to make sensible decisions to get where you want to go in life.
