Apps to Make Content

Recently, I launched a new site called “Apps to Create Content”. This site is all about discovering the best apps to create content from scratch for your blog. The site’s main focus is for creating engaging content. To create a great amount of content, you will need a checklist of best apps that can help you create wonderful pieces of content for social media.

Content creation is central to social media marketing. With businesses relying on social media marketing to promote their businesses, it is important for them to have enough content to share across the different networks. Having a good content strategy will drive site traffic and help your business gain an advantage over competition. It’s also essential to have tools that make creating content more efficient. These are best apps to create content for social media users can use to create original and engaging content for their social media marketing campaigns.

Magisto:

This is one smart tool for your video editing kit!

Magisto app boasts a “sophisticated AI” that works to find the best part of your footage and, from there,  intelligently applies editing techniques like stabilization, facial recognition, video filters, and even auto-crop to make sure your best footage stays within the frame.

While it’s got some serious techie features, the app is still super easy to navigate and you can even use one of Magisto’s video templates to get you started, and then edit using their Smart Storyboard tool.

Plus you can create a video out of your still images that still looks and feels like engaging footage.

All that’s left to do is embed music into your clips from Magisto’s audio library, and it’s ready to share!

Pixomatic:

If you market physical products, the ability to remove backgrounds in product photos and insert clean, white, or branded backgrounds is important. With the Pixomatic app, you can do this even with limited photo editing skills. The app is available for both iOS ($4.99) and Android (free with in-app purchases).

To get started, open the product photo and tap the Cut tool. Then trace around the edges of the product. Use the slider at the bottom to adjust the brush size. After you make your selection, tap Next.

Befunky:

Befunky is aces when it comes to creating images online. You can easily search for stock images related to a specific topic, or browse their featured images if you’re not quite sure what you’re looking for. Befunky also includes a collage-making feature, and digital art effects (where you can filter a photo to look like an oil painting)!

Snapseed:

Google’s Snapseed (free for iOS and Android) is one of the most popular photo editing apps available. It offers a wide range of features to improve your smartphone photos, whether you’re a photography novice or expert.

Desygner:

This social media post creator is amazing for those without any experience in graphic design. (Not only can you create social media graphics, you can also use Desygner to create content like presentations or flyers.) If you prefer to work on on the go rather than on your desktop, Desygner’s mobile app is perfect for you. It allows you to create amazing social media graphics from your device without sacrificing the quality or design.

iWatermark+:

If you need to brand your designs and videos with logos, try the iWatermark+ app, available for both iOS ($4.99) and Android ($3.99). It lets you add watermark logos to photos and videos.

Tap Select Photos to watermark more than one photo at a time.

You can also store multiple logos inside the app, which is helpful if you produce visual content for more than one business. When a logo is selected, tap the edit icon to the right of it to edit the logo individually.

Pixlr:

Pixlr is kind-of like mini Photoshop, but on your web browser. It uses layers and effects, which means it can create high-complexity images. It may be better suited to the more slightly more advanced designer looking to do a little image design online.

Adobe Spark Post:

Whether you have design skills or not, Adobe Spark Post makes you look like you know what you’re doing! It’s available for free for iOS. If you’re an Android user, you can sign up for beta testing.

To create a new project, choose a template or tap the green + sign to start from scratch.

Pablo:

When it comes to your social media presence, people want to see more than just self-promotion. Sharing a graphic with a cool quote can be a great way to drive engagement. The best thing about Pablo—along with its 600,000+ images—is that you can try it out without making an account, meaning you can create tons of free online graphics.

Canva;

Are you a Canva user? If so, make sure to download the free smartphone app (iOS and Android). Although the design app is fairly basic, you can access your desktop designs and make edits on the go.

Select from the social media sizes at the top to get premade templates with the sizing you’re looking for.

You can also duplicate desktop designs and create new designs in just seconds.

Stencil:

Take your pick from over two million public-domain stock photos with this social media post generator—including high-quality nature photos. Share your social media graphic directly to several of your social media accounts, and schedule through Buffer.

Quik:

Looking for an easy but professional way to get into video marketing? Try the free Quik app (iOS and Android). It combines smartphone photos and videos into some of the flashiest eye-catching slideshows out there.

When you open the app, you can select multiple photos and videos. Quik will automatically combine them into an animated slideshow. Tap Hilight to feature the most important photo or video.

Have fun tapping through the styles until you find one you like. Double-tap on any style for more customization options.

Fotor:

Not only does Fotor offer users the ability to quickly create collages, but this graphics app has tons of social media design templates to choose from for creating social media graphics.

InShot:

InShot is one of those apps you’ll wish you discovered sooner!

Instagram’s video dimensions change depending on where you’re posting. For example, Instagram Stories is 9:16, but if you’re creating a video solely for your feed, you may want to cut it to a square aspect ratio so it fits your grid perfectly.

It can take a lot of time to shoot in different dimensions, and editing footage to fit particular frame sizes is a laborious task — but not if you use InShot!

Not only can you trim your footage, speed up your clip, and add filters, but InShot is also perfect when you need to resize your footage for your feed or stories posts.

Using the Canvas feature, the InShot Video Editor takes your existing video and allows you to resize it to various aspect ratios, and you can easily resize and crop it to fit Instagram Stories (or any other social media platform) with just a few taps!

Conclusion:

Content is the hub of successful digital marketing. All social media managers are looking for the best tools to help them create amazing content for social media. Social media users are always looking for new creative apps to get inspired or come up with new ideas which will get them noticed online.
